The VBPR team have a lot of fun with Burns Pet Nutrition campaigns, whether it’s for dog, cat or adorable puppies, we are pet lovers!  

Developed by veterinary surgeon John Burns in 1993, Burns use only simple and real ingredients in its recipes, so you know that your pet is getting exactly what it needs to lead a happy healthy life. 

Animal welfare and pet nutrition are central to the brand’s values and these core messages are central to our influencer activation for both dog and cat campaigns.

Strategy

Our mission is to continuously influence growth of Burns brand awareness and customer penetration in the Irish market.

We developed a layered, integrated communications campaign to broaden our consumer reach.

Tailored messaging for Ireland and NI is central to our campaign strategy in implementing consumer and stakeholder campaigns in both bought and earned media across broadcast, print, online and influencer engagement.

A recent campaign we loved was the Irish campaign to launch their catfood range, was a unique installation for Cats, kittens and cat lovers!

We developed a unique creative concept that was the first Burns Catfé at Airfield Dundrum, a purpose built installation, for cats and kittens to play in a safe environment, while their owners enjoyed complimentary coffee with friends and fellow cat lovers. 

It was the purr-fect (can’t help ourselves!) way to promote the launch of Burns Pet Cat.
