Valda Boardman PR worked with the Ballymore Group who are currently seeking an individual to run The Thatch. The Thatch in Ballymore Eustace has been given the green light to commence building an organic food outlet. Recently purchased by The Ballymore Group, the site will attract curious visitors and discerning food advocates from surrounding counties to experience the outlet’s process, practice and produce.
The idea behind The Thatch is to create an organic food destination for people to get out of the bustling cities and into a refreshing and peaceful space to try fresh and local produce whether that’s for a coffee in the boutique coffee shop or a dining experience in the Thatch restaurant and over time an organic farm.
The Ballymore group approached VBPR to help gain coverage in national print media to aid in finding a suitable candidate to run the outlet. Food, features, and travel journalist, Katy McGuiness, published a piece in the Sunday Times which included an interview with Sean Mulryan, the creator, developer and designer of the project.
