Valda Boardman PR are delighted to work with Manor Farm to launch their new cookbook in aid of Feed the Heroes. The recipe book is available as an e-book for a donation on the dedicated Feed the Heroes Cookbook fundraising page. All donations from the recipe book will go towards Feed the Heroes. The aim of the cookbook is to raise €20K by the 20th of May for the organisation as the next phase of quarantine is introduced this month.
The cookbook, developed by the Marketing Network creative team, contains 22 chicken recipes. Chefs, foodies and influencers provided Manor Farm with their go-to chicken recipes that they enjoy making at home.
A press release was drafted and sent out to regional and national media as well as trade publications. Regional media from areas where the contributors were from were targeted which spanned across all four provinces. Hospitality and food trade media was also targeted and the piece featured in Checkout Magazine, Retail News and Shelflife Magazine.
National coverage was achieved in the Irish Independent Weekend Edition and the Mail on Sunday, which published a four-page spread on the story, including a selection of recipes from the book. A media drop was sent to relevant media, food influencers, and contributors to the cookbook. The drop featured a print edition of the cookbook as well as Manor Farm branded aprons.
